External drive and USB drive delete file Question

When files are deleted from an external hard drive, do they go to the Recycle Bin on the original computer (desktop)?When files are deleted from a USB drive (flash drive), do they go to the Recycle Bin on the original computer (desktop)?I remember they didn't before.But when I just now deleted file from an external hard drive , why did the deleted files go to recycle bin?I haven't had time to test this with a USB drive yet.When files are deleted from an external hard drive, does the external drive's capacity immediately recover?
