Windows Update not working

Hi.i have bought a brand new asus rog strix g614ji yesterday.and there are lots of updates but they do not download or install.i tried downloading them from microsoft catalog but it didn't work to.and the Download and install all botton is not working to.please if you know anything about this help me.
