This has been happening for a while to me, where when I plug in normal headphones with a jack into my laptop, the audio is really bad and sounds tinny. The best way to describe it is that it sounds like the audio when it comes out of my laptop's speakers but in the headphones. The headphones I've used with this laptop have been of good quality (like Razer) so it's not them. I remember mass-deleting a lot of stuff on my laptop a while ago and I think I might have deleted a programme that recognises the audio?
