Unable to change hacked account's email! I recovered my account by getting a password reset BUT I can't change the email the hacker put in my account

I am typing this out from another Microsoft account, recently I was hacked but I could still access my account. The hacker changed my password and email but I had access through my PIN, and knowing the new email they used as I could see my account in my computer settings. Through Microsoft's account recovery service I inputted my details and was able to get my password changed. Sadly, the email is unable to be changed as it is telling me I need to wait 30 days before I can change my security details again.
