Bluetooth Turned Off - Surface 4

My bluetooth has been "turned off" multiple times in the last couple of weeks - no bluetooth icon in tray - nothing connects. What is going on? I have had this happen maybe once before in the 2 years I have owned this PC now twice in about 10 days? I go through all the recommended steps and end up having to redownload drivers. Not a great way to start the work day.
