There is a program called Boinc which was somehow installed on my computer (not by me!) and is constantly running in the background and causing pop ups every few minutes or even seconds. I've tried to uninstall the program but it's not listed, and when I delete all the related files they come back. I did see a post on a Boinc message board that this may be malware affecting only Windows users, but no solutions were offered. I've run all the security and virus detectors and nothing came back. Can anyone help??
