Passkey and fingerprint instead of password isn''t working. How do I resolve this issue?

I can use my fingerprint to sign in to my Microsoft account, but even though I have passcodes set up for my AOL account, I keep getting error messages saying there are no passkeys on my Android. Also, the programme does not let me use my fingerprint. Why is this, and how do I add a passkey/fingerprint for other accounts?
