I just got a pc built a couple days ago and when hooked up to a relatives monitor, worked completely fine. When I brought it home I connected it to my monitor using a HDMI to vdi adapter that I know works because it worked with my laptop. Upon turning on the PC and monitor, the monitor is on but says 'no signal' and goes into sleep mode immediately. When I unplug the cable the monitor says 'cable not connected' instead and does a screen saver. I know the monitor also works because I used it as a second screen on my laptop so it's not that it just straight up doesn't work either. Also a problem
