Verification code isn't being sent to email. How can I fix?

Hello there.I'm trying to change something in my privacy settings and it's asking me to type in a code that was sent to my email. I've done this process multiple times and not once have I received a "code". I tried doing the other account settings to see if a different email works but I have to wait 30 days. I can guarantee you this is the email I've been using for years. No Microsoft emails are in my Junk or Spam folders either. Microsoft is being very reluctant to letting me talk to a person.How can I fix this? Everywhere I'm looking at goes to a dead end.
