My computer hangs and the screen will flash twice suddenly arbitrarily.

There is no specific process that causes it, it just does it whenever. There are no error messages showing what the problem is. Does anyone have a clue as to why it started doing this this morning after an update last night (01JUL2024)? The display drivers are all up to date.
