Why are some of my photos in Photo Album appearing as framed landscape picture?

I am using Photo Album to store my photos and noticed recently that some are appearing in the album as a landscape scene. I can't see anything in settings that may be causing this and it's very puzzling. I'm attaching a screenshot showing the situation. Any ideas what's causing this?
