So, I just got a new laptop, nothing special, just a small HP, and windows just had an update. BIOS it said. Don't know what that is, I'm not a computer tech, I just need one for work and personal use. Anyway, for some reason, during the update, my laptop shut down and now it just won't turn back on. I've tried unplugging it and turning it off and back on and it just goes to a black screen and will flash a message for a split second, not enough time to read it, then go back to the black screen for a minute, then flashes the message again.
