so I accidentally deleted all the .lnk filles from %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows using the del command I was able to recover the items in the start menu but about the rest of the folder do they contain any .lnk(shortcuts) the only thing I noticed after a restart is that the folder icons in the start menu took a bit to load
