How can I fix my laptop that starts but does not go past the Lenovo logo?

Hi, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad t540s laptop.The laptop comes on but does not go past the logo screen. There is a blue screen that shows an error. Sometimes it starts and goes into diagnostic mode and then restarts but never goes past the logo screen. What Can I do to fix this issue?Thank you,
