I accidentally installed a malicious program from an ad, thinking it was a legitimate download. After running the .exe file, several command prompt windows and other programs opened unexpectedly. Soon after, I began receiving emails warning me of suspicious activity in my email account. Despite changing my passwords, I continued to get alerts about unusual logins from other continents.In response, I decided to reset my PC and change all my passwords again.
