Can winRE defined partition be swapped to another existing larger winRE partition?

I see with other posts on KB5034441 install error, it has been suggested to delete existing winRE partition and recreate a larger winRE partition to see if the update then works. This system (win 10 64 bit with GPT configured HDD) already has a second unused larger winRE partition (1) 1023MB as opposed to the defined partition 5 of 563MB. Can I swap the location definition from partition 5 to partition 1? Windows RE location: \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition5\Recov
