My laptop crashes every 2 months and I usually just install Windows 10 from a USB, but today I got this error: "Windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error code: 0x80070001". I formatted the drive in command prompt and made a new partition, but when attempting to install windows I still get the same error. Is there a way to fix this? The laptop is roughly 8yrs old.
