I cant use multiple displays using the Remote Desktop App

When using the ‘Remote desktop connection’ without the app, it was able to replicate my current monitor setup automatically. However the app works a lot faster so I am starting to use this.When going through the App version it seems to window to one screen, and I read that a lot of the settings inside the app apply to the current monitor the app is using. I have checked the box under ‘display’ allowing to ‘use all monitors for the remote session’, as I did with the other version which worked, but it has not worked for the App version.I can’t easily see a way to extend this display.
