July 11 2024 there was an update on my surface pro 6. Now my USB port is not working. How can this be fixed?

After performing the latest windows update my USB3 port on my Surface Pro 6 is no longer working. I've uninstalled all the updates that occurred after the USB stopped working, no help. I've turned off and back on the Surface Pro 6, no help. There appears to be no damage to the port as nothing was moved or disturbed between the time it worked and didn't work.
