My internet goes out when I enter minecraft

I've been having this problem for years. Whenever I enter the online server in Minecraft, it stops for a few seconds and comes back, and it takes minutes for the internet to come back . Sometimes when I change my internet from 5GHz to 2.4Ghz the problem is fixed but when I do the same thing another day it still doesn't work. I don't use an Ethernet cable, use the ZyXEL Wireless AC USB Adapter instead. Please help me!!!!!
