Why does every Windows 10 feature update make my shared disks/directories inaccessible?

Every time there's a new features update, all of my shares become unshareable (or shared as read-only) and the box that I use as my file server becomes invisible to the other machines on my network.My usual workarounds (which I don't want to get into) are not working this time.I'm working with Windows 10 on all machines except one that has W11. But even that one loses access to the shared drives.I'm getting tired of wasting my time trying to find workarounds.All of my Windows machines have the absolute latest updates.So, is there a way to allow my network sharing to survive Windows updates?
