How to upload pictures from iPhone to PC without loading all items from camera roll?

I'm trying to upload some of my newest pictures from my iPhone to PC and have to wait for all 16000 photos to load onto the photos app to select the newest ones. Is there a better way to do this? It takes too long for all of them to load. Thanks!
