I have a user complaining that Windows Mail/New Outlook starts automatically on his device. I checked shell:startup, registry run (HLKM and HKLU) as well as the Windows 10 Startup Apps interface. It's not in any of these places. We did a test and restarted his computer and didn't touch anything, 8 minutes after signing in, sure enough. New Outlook started.If I manually try to open Mail, it opens and closes immediately then opens New Outlook.What could be causing it to open? I checked Event Viewer and saw no correlating entry at the time it started.
