My pc says plugged in but not charging

I bought a laptop on Monday, by Thursday it stops charging but shows plugged in, I tried all I could by troubleshooting, re-installing drivers, turning off my tablet mode, still yet, it didn't charge. Then today the following week Monday, I plugged it again, the charging icon showed but it didn't show charging nor does it increases.. how can you help pls??
