Monitors not displaying

Pc is on and everything was working fine this morning. I checked email and printed some documents. Later I returned to black screens (two monitors) moved my mouse to show display and nothing happened. My pc is still on and the monitors are powered on. I checked all connections, changed the battery in my mouse, bought a new mouse, and still no display.
