Hard drive disappeared.

My hard drive disappeared while I was playing a game. It was hot and I keep hearing it spin down and up. Tried restarting, did not help. Its still spinning down and up while I am typing this.I saw it appear just now and when I pressed on it, file explorer crashed.Any help would be appreciated.
