Okay so, with the caveat that I'm a total novice, I'm at my wit's end here. Tried to update from Windows 10 to Windows 11 using Windows Update, the Windows 11 Installation Assistant, and creating a bootable USB for a clean install. The first two cycle through the process and appear to be installing correctly, but throw an error at the end (0x800004005 and 0xc0000005, respectively, when they've deigned to tell me what the error is).
