I have a Microsoft account that is separate from the one I am posting this on and it was hacked about a month ago. A secondary security email was attached to the account by the hacker, making it difficult for me to change any of the information back to mine and reclaim the account. After changing the password, I contacted Microsoft support numerous times to try to get the account's changes reverted and claim full control back, however this only deepened the problem as the account was soon locked by the support team.
