Bluetooth headphones appear always connected.

I have some Bluetooth headphones that, when looking at in the Bluetooth and devices page in settings, always appears to be connected and at 100% charge. I cannot remove or disconnect them so I went into device manager and removed everything that looked related to it (including the hidden parts) which seemed to solve my problem however when I went to connect the device it was not showing up so I tried restarting my pc and it was all back to before I removed any devices.
