Why do I need to use windows hello?

Whenever I try to sign into minecraft on this account, it requires me to input a windows hello pin, even though I don’t have one. I followed the instructions on what to do if I forgot the pin, but i have the setting disabled. I even enabled the pin setting and set one, but the sign in wouldn’t accept it.
