Keyboard Backlight on 2018 HP Spectre x360 13 ae-0xx not working

The Keyboard Backlight on my 2018 HP Spectre x360 13 ae-0xx stopped working after i got the windows 11 update. I have looked at a lot of online sources but none of them seem to help. I have tired uninstalling the keyboard driver and installing it, but the issue still persists. please help
