Manually have to reset DNS server in each network after having been in another network

I have a custom DNS server (that is local) set in my home network via the Network Settings. When I am connected at home and put my laptop to sleep and start it again somewhere else, connected to another network the DNS server stays the same. This means that every time I connect to another network I manually have to change the DNS server, because it's trying to reach an ip that isn't a DNS server in that network. It doesn't automatically switch the dns server to another standard server, even when I turn wifi off or disconnect and reconnect to the network. It doesn't matter if the settings for t
