I am getting the error message 0x80070643 (see below) when I try to download the security update for Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (KB2538243), I have tried multiple suggested fixes (including the troubleshooter, restarting BITS, hiding the update and reloading, etc.) and nothing works! When I go to the View Update history the link for KB2538243, directs to a page from 2011 with links that are no longer active.... can anyone help?
