Greetings!I have a Surface Pro 4 running Windows 10 Pro that I purchased second hand in 2018, set up the same as a new machine, and have used ever since. After a recent Windows Update, it restarted to the Bitlocker recovery screen. As with many people, I had no idea this was being used and if it was there when I set up the computer (it was Windows 7 at purchase time).I do not have a recovery key in my hardcopy password file, my USB "never-delete backup files" flash drive, nor is it in the Microsoft account despite the computer being registered there.
