I can't update Microsoft Edge it gives this error

"An error occurred while checking for updates: Unable to connect to the Internet. If you use a firewall, please allowlist MicrosoftEdgeUpdate.exe. (error code 7: 0X80072EE4 -- system level)" The error i see when i go to settings and about Microsoft Edge to update it.So if something wrong happens in my PC I always hop into Event Viewer and see if there's a detailed log of the error.
