My Seagate 8tb external hard drive is showing as a scsi drive in device manager. I followed all the steps in a similar question asked in 2015, but it still says scsi instead of USB. It also reports that my drive is only 5tb. I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but I've been having problems with my drive going offline occasionally for months. It started getting worse a few weeks ago, so i decided to look into it. Chkdsk always fails after running for an hour or so with the message of an io error. I'm afraid to upgrade to windows 11 until i have this problem solved. Here is a lin
