My computer has been turned off during updating and i fixed it and now its very slow.

Hello, i have a computer that i used a lot in 2018. I turned it off while it was updating in 2019 and it has been untouched for 5 years. I got it running again like normal but it randomly got slow and laggy. I did some things to make the computer run faster but it seemed that nothing worked. So im looking for a way to make my computer not slow anymore so i can use it normally again.
