monitor randomly got capped at 60 fps on its normal res

hello guys, i just bought a new gpu (4060) to play at 144hz, my monitor was going perfectly at 144 fps until yesterday when i downloaded the nvidia app and my monitor got randomly capped at 60 fps, in windows, nvidia control panel they are all max 60 and on 144 anymore, does anyone know how i could fix? in nvidia control panel if i go down in res it does enable 144 but i always had 1440p which now runs at 60/59 fps
