I'm using Windows 10, but my virus and threat protection settings are greyed out and say only an admin can access them. I'm an admin but can't adjust

basically i have been facing this issue for a long time,ppl have said to update windows but im on the latest version,cant find the registery keys or the policies from any tutorials and running cleaning programs hasnt helped at all,i cant access the security and stuff,everything is greyed out and many stuff says u need admin access eventhough i am admin,i want to add a game to exclusion but it says you dont have proper permissions to view this.
