Windows DVD Player freezes whenever I play the film

I have been using my TUI Gaming PC for nearly 3 years and here are my PC Specs...Whenever I play DVDs on my Windows DVD Player software where has been around 9 years ago I play the film but the screen freezes whenever it plays and it is not to stable for me to play DVDs
