Every time I click on a text field it's auto field with an asterisk and it does this when booted in the windows when booted into safe mode when booted

I've tried deleting and restarting the drivers for the keyboard and mouse track pad also the track pad is kind of I can weird like not tracking right just started doing this two days ago I tried resetting to restore point, have run windows virus Scan quick scan, deep scan nothing seems to help. I can't make a windows back up usb drive because everything starts flashing I guess from the input of the asterisk. Any help would be greatly appreciated first time posting here.
