Domain PDC time source

Setting up a PDC Emulator to point to a NTP external time source, using GPOActually this is the method Use GPO to maintain PDC Emulator's Time Service - Windows - Spiceworks CommunityDone it 100 times before no issue. But this one domain, no matter what, w32tm /query /source shows CMOS clock.Here's the question, and where it gets tricky....if the PDC can't get to that external time source, would the above query default to CMOS?
