Why does my computer keep saying I need Ethernet cable when I have wireless wifi

My wifi keeps cutting out on my computer at random times. When I trouble shoot, it says I need to connect the Ethernet cable, I do not have one nor does my computer need it. Ive had the computer for over a year and have had no problems until recently when this started. Usually I have to leave it for a few days to fix itself. There are no other network options or atleast, it wont show me any and restarting the computer doesn't help either. It’s a HAJAAN gaming PC.
