Windows 10 update is no longer accessible. Can not troubleshoot. WOF driver encountered a corruption

after reinstalling Windows 10 things seemed to be working better but now I can no longer access Windows update and the troubleshooter can't identify a problem.I Ran DISM and got the following (which was the reason for reinstalling windows in the 1st place!)[== 3.8% ] Error: 4448 The WOF driver encountered a corruption in the compressed file's Resource Table. The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log
