Can't update Windows Server 2012 R2 - "The Update is not applicable to your computer."

Hello,I am trying to update a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine, with update KB5040456. This is because of CVE-2024-38077.However, when trying to install the update I get the message "The Update is not applicable to your computer."I have verified that it is an update that is listed for my OS and build. I do not know about any prerequisite updates.Automatically searching for windows for updates does not yield any updates. What can I do to remediate this?Thank you.
