I need to turn off windows update and delete the current update file so that it stops trying to run the update as my system is not compatible with the update that continues to try and install and my computer takes longer and longer to reboot after each attempt. I use this computer as my backoffice system for my business POS and I can't upgrade it at this time. If this continues, I fear that my system will not boot back up after one of these failed attempts and I will lose critical files and information. I have tried to disable the windows update service and the medic service. but they both
