Slow laptop after update 8/15/2024. On 8/15 I was working on laptop shopping for cruises cruises late pm. When done, laptop required a Microsoft “update and shoutdown”, which i did. Ever since it has had problems. That night I turned it back on and it was extremely slow to do anything. Long delays between click and anything happening (start menu wouldn’t pop up, browser wouldn’t open, etc.). Webroot scan showed no threats. Turned it off overnight. Next morning turned it on and the it is extremely slow to start up, took forever for task bar to open. S
