Asus Tuff Led keyboard lights keep reverting

My Asus tuff laptop keeps reverting to strobe lights when i alt tab or switch off/put to sleep my laptop, i know how to change it to a standard colour as i have the aura app but for some reason in the past 2 days my laptop keeps reverting back to strobe lights. Has anyone any ideas on how to fix this as while its not a huge issue, it is very annoying.
