Need help with my pc underperforming

I am not a pc geek so i really do need help. My pc has been performing rather **** when i play games since the first day i got it. Gpu: Geforce rtx2060 Super. Cpu: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz. And i have 16gb Ram of which 9 is available. BIOS version is AMI F.30, 09.11.2020. And my motherboard is rother ssid 8653. I dont know why i get less than 60 fps basically in all games. I need help desperately.
