Why do some apps and websites say that I have no internet connection, when my PC clearly says I am connected to the internet

Hello,The issue started this morning, when I noticed that my internet connection was not working on my PC at all. I use an Ethernet chord plugged into a WiFi range extender.I restarted my router, and my PC clearly says that my Ethernet connections is up. I was able to open my Chrome browser and visit certain websites like Google Drive and YouTube, but others like Reddit, Twitter, and Discord (web browser version), would redirect me to the "This site can't be reached...Try running Windows Network Diagnostics".
